Still Clearing Out the Bins!

More old files found floating around on the harddrive.
These have been posted before somewhere else so this is for those who have yet had their fair share of abuse.

DivShare: The Beatles - Come Together (Stretched Vinyl Remix) - says what it is! Vocal recalls and inserted vamping take this song to lengths not appropriate for standard vinyl pressings.

DivShare: Thomas Dolby vs. Ralph Stanley - I Love You to Death - a mashup of Thomas Dolby's "I Love You, Good-bye" and the mesmerizing acapella by Ralph Stanley called "O Death" from the film "O Brother, Where Art Thou". The acapella was pitched to a lower key to match the Dolby instumental which made Ralph Stanley (a stellar bluegrass tenor) sound like a delta blues baritone. An unusual pairing . . . but I like the way it sounds!

Hey! Anybody out there?
CHEERS!

Isaac Hayes - Don't Let Go
(Geezer's Grip Remix)

Subtlety out the wazoo once again . . . 9-plus minutes of hot buttered soul!

Eat it by the handfuls kiddies!

Chris Rea - Working On It Remix-Remixed

Taking some advice I got from a friend, DJ-Useo, and have removed the slap-back echo from this remix.
I agree, it sounds much better than the previous version.

Let me know what YOU think, eh?

Chris Rea - Working On It RMXD

Another slice-n-dice remix with some added drum track and a bit of slapback echo thru-out.
Chris Rea - Working On It RMXD

A killer toon that can stand on its own . . . one of my all-time Top-10 favorite songs.
After being critiqued about the "distant sound", I'm thinking about updating this one and removing the slapback.

We live, we learn, we move onward.

A Whole Lotta Coconut

Another early attempt at mashup.
The Nilsson pella was created using a VST Plug-in called EasyBoy. Although the results weren't as I'd expected, I still used it because it's the best I could do at that time.
Then I had to pitch it up to match the Zeppelin instru, so now it sounds as if Harry is huffing helium in the studio.
With all that, this just comes down to a frivilous exercise, good for a couple of chuckles . . .
